#ProPlantTips for Care:

These easy-to-grow Rose trees thrive in the full sun! Plant in a consistently moist environment with highly enriched, well-draining soil. Provide a thick layer of mulch over the root system to chase away the chill and keep the roots cool in the summer heat, plus regulate soil moisture! Roses do best with regular applications of quality, slow-release Rose fertilizer, and a site enriched with composted manure. Container plants need good drainage and consistent moisture access. Roses appreciate a 3-4 inch thick layer of arborist mulch around the base of the plant.

Rose Tree Pruning

Early each spring, after the last frost has passed, it's always a good idea to prune back the Rose tree several inches to maintain the nice round form atop its trunk. Keep new blooms returning with occasional deadheading, quickly improving your overall display.

Prune away suckers and branching that forms at the base or on the trunk each year too. Pruning Roses allows for better, bushier growth each year. Read all you need about pruning Roses Here, and about winterizing Roses Here, and un-wintering Roses in spring in our #ProPlantTips Garden Blog!
