We're so pleased to present this thoroughly modern Rose with an evocative, old-fashioned look. Gather armloads of showy, soft pink blooms from the blissfully low-maintenance Easy Elegance® Grandma's Blessing Hybrid Tea Rose (Rosa 'BAIing'). This tough old gal delivers some of the prettiest Roses you'll ever see. Grandma's Blessing makes a grand statement for very little effort. Starting in late spring, this compact bush starts producing four-inch blooms on long stems. Each slender, upright bud unfurls to reveal fully medium pink blooms that age to a pale pink.

Enjoy five reflexed blooms per lateral stem on average. The Roses are typically held in clusters and they last and last when fully open. Grandma's Blessing Rose has a sweet name that captures the look of the large, dusty pink blooms perfectly. Although the blooms look like classic Hybrid Tea Roses, Grandma's Blessing is so unfussy that your neighbors won't believe that you aren't out babying this beauty every day!

Grandma's Blessing Rose, like the entire Easy Elegance® line of Roses, is grown on their own roots and has dark green foliage that stays clean and is a lush dark green! It makes an impressive classically refined hedge along a path, too. This Hybrid Tea Rose will stand up to the heat, the cold, and the rain like a champ. Diseases? Grandma's Blessing just laughs at them! No more complicated pruning or spraying regimens for this beauty.

Planting and Application:

Don't put this cultivar in a corner! This special plant produces Roses that bring smiles and exclamations of amazement! Why not use it in a high-profile space and make people happy? This plant makes a wonderful gift for friends. It can also serve as a lovely memorial plant for your special loved ones!

Keep the Hybrid Tea Roses in full sun, and create a mass planting spaced 30 inches apart in a zigzagging planting pattern. You'll have astonishing color from late spring through fall. Underplant with your favorite Sedum groundcover to polish off the look. Add to a new mulched planting bed near your front walkway.

Add in a straight row, or curve the lines in an informal grouping. This plant carries off a "lot of look" and works beautifully in contemporary and formal settings alike. Replace those annual bedding plants with these long-lived accent Shrub Roses. You'll never tire of their beauty and durability. The gorgeous foliage definitely stands out beautifully as the garden border or as a backdrop to your other perennials and shrubs.

Pop them into large containers and consider flanking them on either side of your front door. That's an easy way to gracefully greet guests and spark conversation. Share their charm along the length of your patio plantings. Or, incorporate them into your mixed garden beds. Even patio and balcony gardeners can enjoy these easy-care ornamental flowering shrubs!

Grow plenty in a cut flower garden, and share those blooms with local retirement homes. You'll get such a boost, and so will the residents! No matter how you use them, Grandma's Blessing Roses will attract butterflies. Watch in delight as they come to visit each bloom several times a day!

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Easy Elegance® Roses are grown on their own roots and offer extremely high performance, even in tough conditions. For the most blooms, these Roses need plenty of sunshine, at least six or more hours a day. The best planting site is one that gets plenty of morning sun. Ensure the soil drains quickly after rainfall. Roses will not tolerate standing water, so elevate them in a raised planting bed to improve drainage. Proper air circulation is a great idea to keep your Roses happy and healthy. When in doubt, give them more room, and pull pots away from walls.

We highly recommend Nature Hills Root Booster when planting long-lived Roses. It never wears out, but rather develops a symbiotic relationship with the feeder roots to help them access micronutrients from the soil. Apply a moderate amount of water at the base of the plant regularly. Feed your Rose bush a slow-release fertilizer in both early spring and mid-summer. Add a 3-4-inch layer of arborist mulch for year-round benefits!

In late fall, bag all leaf litter out from underneath the plant. Prune in early spring each year, cutting all of the stems down to eight inches. It is naturally resistant to both black spot and mildew. This Rose has been specially bred to be tough and reliable in extreme cold and high heat.
