Spectacular Coppertina Ninebark Color Year-Round

  • Year-Round Interest
  • Colorful Foliage, Flowers and Fruit
  • Wildlife Appeal
  • Easily Adapts to Harsh Conditions

For a spectacular focal point, use Coppertina® Ninebark (Physocarpus opulifolius 'Mindia'PP16,371). This compact, easy care shrub can be used as a stand-alone specimen, or try it as a colorful hedge along a side yard. You'll love this deciduous shrub with ornamental foliage.

Coppertina® Ninebark is renowned for its spectacular foliage and year-round interest. In fact, you'll rarely see better leaf color than you will with Coppertina.

The 3-inch, serrated leaves appear a spicy-orange in spring, gradually deepening into a resplendent coppery-red for summer. The color knocks your socks off!

Watch for the sweet, pink-tinted, white blooms in spring. By fall, Coppertina's red seed capsules provide added potency to its vibrant display. When winter arrives, and the bark is exposed, you'll be amazed by the showy, exfoliating bark. Red to light-brown layers are exposed by the peeling bark, thus the name "Ninebark".

It has superior branching and a rounded habit. There are no significant insect or disease issues with Coppertina and it's especially resistant to powdery mildew. It prefers full sun, but is rather adaptable and able to grow in even harsh conditions.

There are few ornamental shrubs more colorful and hardy than Coppertina® Ninebark. This beautiful shrub is sure to be one of your favorite plantings once you witness its remarkable foliage color and superior features. Order today!
