Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 5-9
This big red-blooming powerhouse will make you dizzy! Cherry-Go-Round™ Bigleaf Hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'Hokomaburlac') is a Bloomin' Easy® Hydrangea that boasts dramatic, deep red mophead pompoms! Blooming late spring through summer, they stand tall upon sturdy straight stems, backed by those beloved quilted big, lush leaves!
The densely packed mopheads are so full that your head will swim and Cherry-Go-Round™ itself is also densely branched and compact; growing only 2-3 feet tall and wide at maturity. Once fall comes around, Cherry-Go-Round™ blooms dry to a botanical shade of creamy tan and persists throughout the fall and into winter! Snip the fresh and dried blooms for floral bouquets, crafts, and dried décor indoors or out!
Bigleaf Hydrangeas are pH-dependent blooms and the acidity/alkalinity of your soil will determine the ultimate flower color, so pick up a soil tester to be sure what you will be planting Cherry-Go-Round™ in! Plant in more alkaline conditions and you'll enjoy slightly pinker blooms, while very acidic soils might edge these blooms closer to a purplish red. But in slightly acidic soil, which is this Hydrangeas happy place, you'll enjoy those voluptuous rich red mopheads!
Planting and Application:
This Hydrangea is most commonly used in low hedges, mixed-shrub borders, modern Cottage Garden, or as a backdrop for your perennial garden. There are so many possibilities! Butterflies love them and Bigleaf Hydragnea are must-haves for the cutting garden! Groupings and winding rows of vividly colored Hydrangea add major curb appeal to foundation plantings and along pathways, enhancing outdoor entertaining areas and adding lush hot color to poolside seating!
Cherry-Go-Round™ is perfect for planters and containers, as a specimen plant and thriller plant, both in-ground and in pots! This dramatically red-saturated bloom will stand out anywhere in the sun or partial shade garden, porch, patio, or balcony! Set them off with dark pots, or vibrantly painted Talavera flower pots, or among dark foliage plants to help them stand out further! Wonderfully compact and space-saving, Cherry-Go-Round™ fits into any sized garden or landscape with ease!

#ProPlantTips For Care
Hydrangea care can look overwhelming, but it’s pretty easy! We have a few recommendations for you while taking care of your plant. Best in full sun and partial sun in cooler zones, but partial shade and afternoon shade is recommended in warmer climates. In cooler zones, the more sun you give Hydrangea, the more blooms you'll enjoy! Bigleaf Hydrangea thrives in zones 5-9. Need to find your hardiness zone? Use our map to locate yours! Plant these flowering ornamentals in moist, well-drained and slightly acidic soil.
Topdress with 3-4 inches of arborist mulch as they thrive when having that even moisture and protection. Hydrangea care can look overwhelming, but it's pretty easy! We have a few recommendations for you while taking care of your plant. Once established, water consistently as you would other plants and use an acid-loving flowering plant fertilizer. Blooming on old wood earlier and producing flowers later on new shoots from the base, prune Bigleaf Hydrangea after the flowering has occurred. This will encourage healthy and happy blooms later!
- Full Sun & Partial Shade - Favoring Afternoon Shade
