This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Sweet blackberries are very healthy and notable for their high nutritional contents of dietary fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K, folic acid and B vitamins. They also contain the essential mineral, manganese.

Grow your own for the best flavor. We believe that no store-bought berry can compare with "the real thing" fresh from the bush.

Navajo has a well-deserved reputation as being both a good "all-rounder" and easy-care. These pretty plants grow tall, and don't spread wide like other varieties. It's a great choice for smaller yards.

Enjoy a long-lasting abundance of large, juicy, sweet, dark-purple to black fruit that ripens in the mid-season for several weeks. Add a single variety, or try several different kinds for a higher yield from your harvest season.

You can't go wrong with our high-quality fruiting plants, and these time-tested plants are in very high-demand. It seems that everyone wants to start growing their own food these days. Please place your order for Navaho Thornless Blackberry ASAP.

How to Use Navaho Thornless Blackberry in the Landscape

These attractive plants feature pink buds and white flowers in springtime. The canes grow to stand up nice and tall, and it's so interesting to watch the berries develop from blooms to finished fruit.

Make the most of your sunny spaces. Plant several Navaho Blackberry in a row as a hard-working hedge. They work well in small groups, or in a woodland border.

Navajo berries are of excellent quality and are delicious fresh, baked into pies or preserved as jams and jellies. Freeze what you don't use, and create incredible blended smoothies!

If you are only growing one, give yourself space to harvest all around it. For a hedgerow, plant a bit closer three feet apart with five feet between rows.

Stake your brand new growth as needed. With plenty of sun, Navajo canes straighten upright and develop a columnar growth habit.

#ProPlantTips for Care

Grow Navaho Thornless Blackberries in a planting site that receives full sun. They need at least six hours of direct sunlight for the best fruit production.

This durable variety is tolerant of a wide range of soils, including clay that drains quickly. It must have well-drained soil.

During planting, you can add a few handfuls of compost, along with a packet of Nature Hills Root Booster. Follow the directions on the label.

Water is important, especially during fruit development. Apply a medium amount of water on a regular schedule. Pine straw or pine bark mulch over the root system helps keep it cool and moist.

Navaho Thornless will produce fruit on the floricanes from the prior year. After the fruiting is done for the season, cut the finished floricanes down to the ground and place in lawn bags for disposal.

Leave the current year's primocane growth standing over winter. They will produce flowers and fruit the following year.

Apply slow-release fertilizer in early spring. Read the directions on the label for application rates and timing schedule.

Count on the high performance of this variety. You'll appreciate a long season of delicious ripe fruit. Order Navaho Thornless Blackberry from Nature Hills as soon as you see it in stock.
