Nice Bush

Seems like it's settling in well. Not much to see so far but it seems healthy and I'm hoping for some nice color when it cools off as it gets lots of sun.

Kodiak Orange is worth the wait. Once it settles in and the temperatures drop a bit, that burnt-orange flower color tends to come on strong, especially with the sun exposure you're describing. Thanks for the update, Ian, and feel free to check back in when it blooms.

Great company! Shrubs arrived promptly and in excellent condition

Great company! Shrubs arrived promptly and in excellent condition. Ordered four more and had the same great experience.

Kodiak Orange is a tough, reliable shrub, and it sounds like yours are off to a solid start. Planting multiples together really lets the fall color and berry display shine, so those four additions should look great come autumn. Thanks for coming back for a second order, Karen, that means a lot to the whole team here.

The Orange Bush Honeysuckle is very pretty

The Orange Bush Honeysuckle is very pretty. All of my plants arrived well packaged and I am very happy with everything!

Kodiak Orange is such a good choice. That orange-red fall color with the summer blooms makes it a plant that earns its space in the garden across multiple seasons. Glad everything arrived in good shape, Bonnie, and thanks for planting with us.

Healthy plant making a difference in my garden already!

Kodiak Orange is a fast mover once it gets settled in, so it's great to hear yours is already making its presence known. It should really fill out and put on a show come bloom time. Thanks for sharing, Cathy. The Nature Hills Team

Slow start but optimistic

The 3 shrubs showed some frost damage when received, then we couldn’t get them in the ground for a few weeks afterward due to wet conditions in Louisville. However, a week into their new hone, they’re looking pretty good. We have high hopes!

Hi,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We understand how challenging it can be when frost damage and rainy weather delay planting — especially here in Louisville where the weather can be unpredictable. We're glad to hear that your shrubs are starting to look better a week into their new home! Frost-stressed plants often need a little extra attention at first, so providing consistent moisture (without overwatering) and a bit of mulch to retain soil warmth can help them continue to bounce back.

If you ever need specific care tips or assistance as your shrubs settle in, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to support you every step of the way, and we’re confident your optimism will pay off beautifully.

Wishing you happy planting,
The Nature Hills Plant Experts

Hi,

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the shrubs you received. It’s completely understandable that the frost damage and wet conditions in Louisville caused some delays and concerns. We’re truly glad to hear that, even with these challenges, your shrubs are starting to bounce back after being planted and that you’re feeling optimistic about their growth!

If you notice any lingering frost damage, gentle pruning can often encourage healthy new growth as the plants adjust to their new environment. Also, ensuring well-drained soil will help promote strong root development, especially after a wet period. If you have questions about care or any future concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re always here to help.

We wish you ongoing success nurturing these shrubs and watching your garden flourish!

Rooting for your garden’s success,
Your Nature Hills Plant Care Team
