Healthy Thriving Plant

This plant arrived healthy and is thriving. I would buy it again!

Limelight Hydrangeas have a way of just taking off once they settle in, so it is great to hear yours is already thriving. Thanks for sharing, Lois, and we hope it puts on a beautiful show for you come bloom time.

Hydrangea Trees

The Hydranges were delivered to me in mint condition. The leaves are beautiful and healthy. There was one flower on each which was nice, I can’t wait until next year to see all the blooms. NHN packaged the trees very well and the trees were still moist. UPS delivered them with the timeframe that was promised. Thank you NHN

Limelight is such a rewarding hydrangea to watch develop, and it sounds like yours are off to a strong start. That single bloom on each tree is just a preview. Once they settle in through the rest of the growing season, next year's flower show will be well worth the wait. Thanks for the kind words, Madelene, and for noting the packaging and delivery details. We will pass that along to the team.

Plant is strong and healthy

It arrived in good condition and I planted it in 2 days. A sprinkler "technician" ran over it with a trencher wheel but nothing broke and I replanted it upright. It looks healthy and I am looking forward to seeing its growth in a year.

Limelight Hydrangeas are tough plants, but surviving a trencher wheel is a real test. Glad to hear it came through without breaking and is settling in well. Give it a full season and you should start to see some good strong growth, especially once it gets its roots established.

The purchase and delivery went smoothly; plant looks great

The purchase and delivery went smoothly. Plant arrived well packaged and looking healthy. I already planted it in a bigger pot and it is showing signs of new growth. Looks very promising.

New growth showing up right after planting is a great sign that the Limelight is settling in well. These hydrangeas are strong growers once established, so it sounds like you are off to a solid start. Thanks for sharing the update, Badr. The Nature Hills Team

Great package

Great package. Very healthy.

Healthy plants right out of the box is exactly how it should go, and we're glad the Little Lime Punch arrived in good shape. This one tends to hit the ground running once it gets settled in, so you should have a great season ahead. Thanks for sharing, Maryann!

The plants arrived in great shape and were growing very well until the deer found them

The plants arrived in great shape and were growing very well until the deer found them. Luckily, I discovered the damage before it went too far and applied both granular and spray deer and rabbit deterrents. I hope that's enough to keep them safe!

Great condition!

Great condition!
These significantly taller than 4 feet! Soil was still moist and they have mostly perked up, one is still in a little shock.

Hi Jennifer! Thank you for the lovely review, we appreciate it and you! We're happy to hear that the Limelight Panicle Hydrangea Tree arrived taller than expected. It is normal for new hydrangea trees to look a little stressed right after planting. With consistent deep watering, mulch to keep roots cool, and a little patience, your Limelight will settle in nicely.

Healthy Trees

Well packaged, nice sized healthy plants.

Thanks for sharing how nicely your Limelight Panicle Hydrangea Trees traveled and how healthy they look on arrival. Limelight thrives in morning sun and afternoon shade, and research from North Carolina State University shows that even moisture through the first season encourages those signature lime-to-rose flower panicles. A slow-release, balanced fertilizer in early spring and a simple prune in late winter will keep the blooms large and plentiful. We’re excited to see these versatile trees become the standout anchors of your landscape.

Frequently Asked Questions

How big does Little Lime Punch™ Panicle Hydrangea get at maturity?

  • Little Lime Punch™ Panicle Hydrangea is a compact selection that stays small while delivering big visual impact. This dwarf variety maintains a dense, manageable size perfect for containers and small gardens. Plant it where you want dramatic color without overwhelming nearby plants.

What are the planting and care requirements for Little Lime Punch™ Panicle Hydrangea?

  • Little Lime Punch™ thrives in full sun to partial shade with regular watering and well-draining soil. This compact panicle hydrangea adapts to an incredibly wide range of growing zones. Plant in spring after frost danger passes, and prune in late winter if needed. Shop at Nature Hills for best selection.

How should I water Little Lime Punch™ Panicle Hydrangea after planting?

  • Water deeply 2-3 times per week for the first growing season to establish roots. Little Lime Punch thrives in both full sun and partial shade conditions. Check soil moisture by inserting your finger 2 inches deep - water when dry at that level.

Does soil pH affect the flower color of Little Lime Punch™ Panicle Hydrangea?

  • No, soil pH does not affect the flower color of Little Lime Punch™ Panicle Hydrangea. Unlike some hydrangea types, panicle hydrangeas naturally progress from white to light pink to rich red as the season advances. Focus on providing well-draining soil and regular watering for best bloom performance.

What's the difference between Little Lime Punch™ and Little Lime hydrangea?

  • Little Lime Punch™ features dynamic color-changing blooms that progress from white to pink to rich red, while Little Lime stays primarily white with light pink hints. Both are compact panicle hydrangeas, but Punch offers a more dramatic multi-color display throughout the season. Choose Punch for bolder color impact in your landscape, available at naturehills.com.

What fertilizer should I use for Little Lime Punch™ Panicle Hydrangea?

  • Use a balanced, slow-release fertilizer (10-10-10 or 12-12-12) in early spring before new growth begins. Panicle hydrangeas like Little Lime Punch aren't heavy feeders, so avoid over-fertilizing which can reduce blooming. Apply according to package directions around the base in March or April.
