The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Growing Zones 3-8
Here at Nature Hills, we are totally in love with this amazing new Hydrangea! The Zinfin Doll® Panicle Hydrangea bush (Hydrangea paniculata 'SMHPRZEP') is a true beauty, giving your garden a flush of big, gorgeous, upright snow-white blooms! The blooms blush a bright pink from the base up to the tips as they transition to an eye-catching dark pink-red in early fall.
Backed by a compact mound of slender foliage in deep green, these big airy shrubs have a high impact! The stems are a beautiful red that complements the ever-changing flowers, strong and sturdy, they are also no slouch in the vase. It pumps out bloom after bloom and will keep you (and your neighbors!) in supply of cut flowers all late summer and fall! People will compliment these shrubs the entire time they are in bloom!
Hardy throughout USDA growing zones 3 through 8, these can become sizeable ornamentals reaching 7 to 9 feet in mature height when in bloom and can achieve a similar size in width. Pollinator-friendly, these shrubs even are perfect for birds to shelter in and nest in so plant groupings or shelterbelts for them and wildlife to take cover in.
Planting and Application:
We guarantee that you will be in love with this lusciously colored Panicle Hydrangea, too! It will work wonders in your garden. It is a showpiece on its own, but it also makes a fantastic border or privacy hedge. It adds dimension, scale and texture to your landscape. Snip those glorious blossoms for fresh bouquets and later as they turn tan for the winter, for including in winter dried décor. Simply cut the flower heads when they are fully open and hang to dry in a warm, airy place.
These shrubs are great for informal screens, windbreak additions, and foundation plants and help slow drifting snow! Add a secluded feel to your front or back yard with a staggered row of these shrubs to make your property feel more private, give birds a place to roost and nest, and dampen sound from the street. Impressive specimen plants or focal points, you can 'limb up' your shrub to look more like an informal multi-trunked tree-form by removing lower side branches and exposing the branching framework. Or leave the branches to the ground for privacy all growing season!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Plant Panicle Hydrangea in full sun and partial shade, favoring morning sun. If you are in the hottest of its favored growing zones, provide afternoon shade from the brunt of the summer sun. Keep the soil moderately moist and top dress with 3-4 inches of arborist mulch chips. You may prune every year, for size and to remove old growth, but no more than 1/3 of the plant. Only prune in the very early spring or you'll accidentally remove next year's blooms! They are hardy and will not need to be covered to flower. Zinfin is easy to grow and they will tolerate less than ideal soil conditions.
