Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 3-7
An astounding form and attractive foliage make Young's Weeping Birch (Betula pendula 'Youngii') a true garden standout. Give it plenty of room to spread into its full, pendulous glory! Birch trees are some of the world's prettiest, and this expressive selection is no exception.
The charismatic canopy drapes downward in a gorgeous cascade. Let the weeping branches grace your landscape with their distinctive, dark green, toothed, and textured leaves that catch every breeze! This specialty weeping tree commands attention with its golden fall color!
Hardy throughout USDA planting zones 3 to 7, these weeping Birch trees grow 8 - 10 feet in height and can spread 12 - 15 feet wide, forming drooping, swaying branches that are pendulous and graceful!
Planting and Application:
Over time, Young's Weeping Birch becomes a dynamic, sculptural element in your garden with showy white bark. This might just be the perfect "pint-sized" accent tree to enjoy reflected at the side of a pond or water feature!
Encourage garden guests to linger near your Young's Weeping Birch by planting it on the south side of an outdoor seating arrangement. Go ahead and push out into your lawn with a planned entertainment area to squeeze every drop of enjoyment from your investment in real estate!
Try a series of these charming trees as a large-scale privacy screen. Mix with evergreen trees and shrubs for year-round coverage. Perfect for small space gardens, Young's Weeping Birch serpentine branch structure performs best in mulched garden beds. Plant them 20 feet away from concrete and sidewalks, and love their unique, sculptural appeal. Allow it to shine in a garden vignette at a curve in your garden path...up-light into the canopy with exterior lights to show it off at night, as well!
Birch trees are favorite wildlife trees for birds, who love taking shelter in the luminous branches. Luckily, deer tend to leave them alone, although we do recommend you use repellent on planting day and reapply per the label instructions.
#ProPlantTips for Care:
Keep Young's Weeping Birch happy and stress-free with rich, slightly acidic soil. Add a three-inch layer of pine bark mulch spread well past the canopy...and reapply as needed every few years.
These cold-hardy trees will thrive in either full sun or partial shade with at least four hours of light a day. Ensure they stay evenly moist with a regular schedule of supplemental water in dry weather.
