Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

At Nature Hills we handle, package and ship the products you order with the utmost care to ensure healthy delivery. Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the tables below. Maybe you're afraid to grow berries in your backyard. You're afraid that they'll be too hard, too time-consuming, too much trouble. If that is the case, we'd like to introduce you to Yezberry® Solo™ Japanese Haskap Bush (Lonicera caerulea YEZBERRY 'Kapu'). This is a berry that you're probably not familiar with!

From the unique blossoms that pollinators adore, to the delicious fruit that songbirds love, these are fantastic superfruits not just for us, but wildlife too! When you order, make sure to order Yezberry Maxie™ Japanese Haskap along with it as a pollinator and max out your harvest. This way you'll be sure that there is enough fruit to go around!

These hardy plants are so easy to grow! These berries are natural natives of North America even though this selection is from pure Japanese strains. That means that they will adapt to any soil and even any pH level. Yezberry Haskaps tolerate lots of cold weather and they fruit later so that they are great for places with surprise spring frosts.

Planting and Application:

These plump berries have a sweet-tart taste that is a cross between a ripe blueberry and blackberry or raspberry. They are sweet enough to eat straight off of the bush, but they also make great jam, sauce and desserts.

A wonderful size for privacy hedges and screening, these are great shelterbelts and property division that provides luscious fruit for you, your curious neighbors and for wildlife, unless you cover the bushes when they’re dripping in fruit! Prune smaller to keep in sunny containers and planters on your porch or patio, just be sure to plant with its pollinator buddy!

  • Large, Sweet Berries
  • Unique White Blooms
  • Pollinators & Bird-Friendly
  • Cold Hardy Native
  • Ornamental Shrub

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Also called Honeyberry, these do best in full sun. Preferring consistent moisture and enriched soil, provide a thick layer of mulch over the soil surface to hold in moisture and insulate the roots.

  • Full Sun
  • Enriched Well-Drained Moist Soil & Mulch
  • Prune Immediately After Fruiting
  • Easy-To-Care For & Not pH-Dependent
  • Adaptable & Easy To Care For
