Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

Flirty, fun, and The Saucy Seduction™ Yarrow (Achillea millefolium 'Saucy Seduction') is part of the Seduction™ line of Yarrow and known for sturdy compact growth, long bloom periods, and interesting flowers!

The Saucy Seduction™ produces flat-topped heads of rich rose-pink flowers, each with a tiny white eye and subtle white shading from June into August. Rich green ferny foliage with silvery highlights forms dense mounds while the flowers form upright columns. The flat clusters of florets are the perfect landing pads for pollen-gathering and nectar-seeking bees and Pollinators alike!

Saucy Seduction™ proves to be an excellent garden performer throughout USDA hardiness zones 4 to 8, and will bloom all summer until fall if deadheaded. It will spread by underground rhizomes and by seeds, so can be used as a groundcover on slopes and dry, hot, and sunny areas.

Planting and Application:

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Needing full sun to do their best, Yarrow tolerates poor soil and does best in lean, well-drained soil. They are adaptable to almost any soil with adequate drainage. For their first year, provide regular moisture, but once established, your Yarrow can be drought-tolerant! Top the root system with a 3-4 inch deep layer of arborist mulch.

Deadhead spent flowers to encourage a rebloom. It is recommended you divide these perennials every 3-4 years in the spring and prune your mounds back each year in early spring before you see new growth. Attractive to butterflies, but pest, disease, deer and rabbit resistant, Yarrow are rugged little garden gems with a carefree attitude!

  • Performs in Heat & Full Sun
  • Drought Tolerant & Tolerates Dry Rocky Soil
  • Needs Well-Drained Sites
  • Moderate to Low Moisture Needs Once Established
  • Prune Early Spring
  • Rabbits & Deer Resist This Cultivar
