Rock Roses are drought tolerant once established and handle full sun all day! Previously known as C. corbariensis, this hybrid Rock Rose thrives throughout USDA growing zones 7 to 10, growing to an impressive 2 to 5 feet in height and spreading 5-6 feet in width.

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Rock Roses need full sun, and are hardy, and highly adaptable to a wide range of well-drained soil with regular moisture access for young broadleaf evergreen shrubby perennials. Avoid poor soils that retain lots of water to avoid drowning your shrub, because these plants become quite drought-tolerant once established.

Little pruning is needed, but if you do choose to trim your Rock Rose, do so only after it's done flowering. Provide a 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch over the soil surface to help with insulating the roots and provide moisture retention.

  • Full Sun & Some Partial Shade
  • Must Have Well-Draining Soil
  • Moderate to Low Moisture Once Established
  • Prune After Flowering Only
  • Tolerant of Salt, Droughts, Pests, Diseases & Heat
