To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

 

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Pollinators flock to the summer display of gleaming white flowers, born singly or in groups of 3, each with cheerful yellow centers that are loaded with pollen and nectar! The wavy gray-green leaves are densely held over low mounds of evergreen greenery, and won't fade in the heat and humidity of the hot southern summers.

Rock Roses are drought tolerant once established and handle full sun all day! Previously known as C. corbariensis, this hybrid Rock Rose thrives throughout USDA growing zones 7 to 10, growing to an impressive 2 to 5 feet in height and spreading 5-6 feet in width.

Planting and Application:

White Rock Roses can handle xeric conditions once established, so Rock Gardens, hell strips along the road or sidewalk, or on hot, sunny hillsides where some erosion and sunbaked conditions are common. Commercial sites and relentless areas around parking lots and sun-drenched sites are loved by Rock Rose!

Great for use as a low-growing garden filler and living groundcover, happily winding through the landscape to fill bare ground among larger shrubs and around trees as a pretty flowering skirt. Plant anywhere a sunny year-round shock of color and winter interest garden features is needed!

Rock Roses need full sun, and are hardy, and highly adaptable to a wide range of well-drained soil with regular moisture access for young broadleaf evergreen shrubby perennials. Avoid poor soils that retain lots of water to avoid drowning your shrub, because these plants become quite drought-tolerant once established.

Little pruning is needed, but if you do choose to trim your Rock Rose, do so only after it's done flowering. Provide a 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch over the soil surface to help with insulating the roots and provide moisture retention.
