Unique Foliage on a Hardy Shade Tree

Fruitless White Mulberry is a terrific tree for general landscape purposes. Plant one in your front or side yard for beauty and shade. These hardy trees do especially well in areas where other trees in your yard might struggle.

Most Mulberry varieties were introduced in the US because of their interest to the silkworm industry. That particular industry failed to thrive here, but the Mulberry remained as a favorite of many homeowners.

Its most interesting feature is its one-of-a-kind foliage. Some of the light green leaves are deeply lobed, others heart-shaped, with a variety of shapes and sizes that make this tree a delight. When autumn arrives, your Mulberry's leaves will transition to a subtle yellow/gold tone for some added fall color.

Unlike fruited varieties, this White Mulberry is perfect for locations where you'd enjoy its unique appearance, but would rather not have to deal with its falling red fruits.

It's a highly adaptive tree, tolerant of many conditions and quite easy to grow. Its hardy nature, ease of care and unique foliage are sure to make the Fruitless White Mulberry a favorite of yours this summer!

  • East to grow
  • Seaside tolerant
  • Texas root rot resistant
