To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

The darling little Minuet Weigela (Weigela florida 'Minuet') is a dwarf shrub with showy flowers and foliage! Enjoy the spring, yellow-throated, hot-pink flowers with a trumpet-like appearance that appear for a dramatic display in your yard. As an added bonus, the flowers sporadically bloom again throughout summer, an extra boon for your pollinators and Hummingbirds!
Your Minuet Weigela is a colorful plant even when not in full bloom. The elliptic leaves have a slight purple hue, lending them an attractive color all season long. Growing just 2-3 feet tall and wide, these colorful little pops of color fit anywhere!
Minuet Weigela has a dense, rounded form and is hardier than some other dwarf cultivars. In fact, it was developed in Canada, and has improved cold tolerance throughout USDA growing zones 4 to 8.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Minuet requires full sun for best flowering but will tolerate a variety of other conditions including some afternoon shade (especially in the hotter of its favored growing zones!). Plant Weigela in well-drained rich soil with moderate, regular moisture. Top dress with a thick layer of wood chip mulch, but please take care to ensure the mulch doesn't touch the stems directly.
It's amenable to pruning, so you can shape it as needed but because of its compact, dwarf size and naturally tidy form, you'll appreciate its low-maintenance nature! Rejuvenate your mature Weigela by pruning out the oldest, fattest stems down to the ground every three years or so. Leave the thin, young stems to provide the most amazing blooms for you!
