Dramatic houseplants that are easy-care, enhance your indoor plantscapes and Nature Hills is sure you'll be delighted by this incredibly vivid Variegated Arrowhead!
Living works of art, Variegated Arrowhead Vine, aka Variegated Syngonium (Syngonium podophyllum 'Albo Variegatum') have bright green, exaggerated arrowhead-shaped leaves with random splotches, patches, speckles and steaks of pure white!
Enhanced by rosy pink stems and the occasional pink blush on new foliage, Arrowhead features upright stems on a vining plant. The pure white patches on the arrow-shaped leaves combined with the pink stems create a fantastic color combination!
There is always something to look at with this plant! Some leaves are marbled green and white, and other leaves are nearly completely white! All pointing in lovely directions.
Each leaf has a unique pattern and the leaf shape changes as the plant ages! As the leaves mature, they'll become more complex, forming an open fan with up to 11 leaflets.
Trainable to grow in a dense bush form or even trained along trellis or supports, the sky is the limit for these fast-growing houseplants!
Planting and Application:
The Variegated Arrowhead is an eye-catching addition to your indoor gardening and decor. Also known as Arrowhead Vine, the plant creeps along the jungle floor in its native setting.
You too can recreate this look of either a trailing vine or a strong vertical accent! Potted in a hanging planter, suspended from the ceiling, and allow to arch and weep downward. Any way that you use these mesmerizing plants, they'll add to your home's decor and tranquil atmosphere! Trail a Syngonium from the top of a tall bookcase or use hooks to train the tendrils to grow over door frames and over that bright upper cabinet in your kitchen!
For vertical accents, repot into a larger container with a moss pole or trellis. Allow to climb or assist the tendrils as they spiral up a column for lovely home decoration!
With no problem moving outside for warmer months, use these plants around your partly-shaded patio and balcony. Let ramble around the base of larger plants as filler and groundcover, or if you are in zones 9 and up, you can use Arrowhead as a year-round filler, creeper, or climber!
No matter how you train your Syngonium, as filler, thriller, or spiller, you'll always have something new to entertain you as each new leaf unrolls!

#ProPlantTips For Care
Tropical houseplants like Variegated Syngonium prefer full, indirect light all day or partial sun is required for the best variegation and strength of the stems. Bright, indirect light also gives you colorful stems in rosy pink! Easy to grow and requiring very little care, Variegated Syngonium does prefer higher humidity locations and rich, organic soil.
Give Arrowhead moderate watering to keep it happy. Keep the soil barely moist at all times for the best results, without overwatering or allowing it to dry out for long between waterings. In winter they will need misting or assistance with humidity, but prefer the growing medium on the slightly drier side.
Fertilize your plants with a slow-release indoor formula or organic fertilizer such as Dr. Earth House Plant Organic Pump & Grow Indoor Plant Food for best results.
Be sure your planters, hanging pots and containers always have excellent drainage so your roots don't sit in water and rot, but also have a growing medium that is able to hold moisture consistently.
- Indirect Full Sun & Partial Shade
- Consistent Moderate Moisture Needs
- Enriched Soil & Good Drainage
