To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Take a break from the various chemicals used on trees with the USDA Organic Princeton Elm Tree (Ulmus americana 'Princeton'). It has all the same characteristics we know and love of the disease-resistant Princeton Elm with an especially green twist!
The term organic gets to be added to plants that follow the United States Department of Agriculture's guidelines. In this case, these trees were grown in soils approved by their board and weren't subject to any fertilizers or pesticides while growing.
This deciduous tree was found on a street in New Jersey during a time when everyone had thought Elm trees were long gone due to Dutch Elm Disease. Luckily, this variety is quite resistant to the harmful disease!
As spring lengthens the days and warms the air, this Elm unfurls luscious green foliage on its dense upward-facing branches. It continues its magnificent display of color all through summer. Then green turns to yellow in a brilliant show before retiring for the coldest parts of the year.
Landscape Application:
Mix with Red Maples and Evergreens to complete the perfect fall color palette! Otherwise, plant by itself as a single specimen in your backyard where it will provide shade and bird-friendly habitat for generations to come!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
For the healthiest tree, plant in full sun and well-drained soils. You might also consider mulching around the base 3-4 inches deep, to prevent stress during dry times. Regular water access is a must during their first year in the ground but Elms can be drought-tolerant once established. Prune in the late winter or early spring to correct branching and remove dead limbs.
