If you're looking to take your culinary efforts to the next level, don't make the journey without our Tuscan Blue Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis 'Tuscan Blue'). Foodies and chefs alike know that Rosemary elevates nearly any dish with which it comes into contact.

The aromatic bright green needle-like leaves on the woody stems of this evergreen features vivid sky-blue flowers that pollinators adore! These flowers add lovely scent and flavor to recipes, crafts, and décor. Perfect for warm growing zones outdoor decoration in pots or in the garden bed year-round, or can be brought in for the winter if you are in a cooler growing zone and used as summer patio and planter additions.

Add it to brown sugar and create a glaze for Pears, Peaches, and Apples. This versatile herb isn't just for cooking though. Savvy bartenders know that it adds a special zing to after-dinner cocktails. Rosemary has so many uses beyond cooking. Use its sprigs in homemade olive oil blends, and make use of the stems for flavor-filled BBQ skewers. Dry the leaves for the winter. This is one herb that you really shouldn't live without.

Planting and Application:

Rosemary is one of the most versatile herbs in a cook's repertoire. Growing your own in your kitchen or on the patio ensures that the Rosemary you use in your dishes is fresh, robust and flavorful. An essential rub for meats, including steak, wild game, fish, chicken and beef, Rosemary has been making taste buds tingle for centuries or longer. It's a great addition to an array of veggie dishes, adding just a touch of savory goodness to make your dish really pop on your plate.

Store-bought Rosemary cannot surpass the amazingly fresh flavor of homegrown. Part of the problem is that any Rosemary purchased at the store may lose its kick when stored in the fridge between uses. With your own Tuscan Blue Rosemary growing in a container at home, by the front or back door, or around your barbecue pit - you just pluck what you need, when you need it! Nothing's fresher than that! Use in kitchen and herb gardens, or as an ornamental addition to the vegetable bed. Ideal edible gardening landscaping shrubs, both front and back yard gardening never looked, smelled or tasted so good!

  • Hardy Herb With Deep-Blue/Sky-Blue Blooms
  • Fabulous in Containers all Growing Season
  • Harvest Year-Round
  • Incredible Fragrance
  • Beautiful Aromatic Foliage for Herb Gardening & Landscaping

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Rosemary grows best in xeric well-drained soil and in a site that receives full sun conditions. Keep in mind that Rosemary doesn't like cold weather or wet conditions, so plant accordingly or keep your container in full sun indoors. Growing in hardiness zones 8-11, this variety is super hardy, and it's easy to care for. Prune after flowering to shape the plant and don't forget to use the trimmings to dry as seasoning or for craft use! These are low-maintenance and deer-resistant plants for even the newest gardeners.

  • Full Sun
  • Root Systems Medium to Low Moisture Needs
  • Hardy Evergreen USDA Zones 8-11
