To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements

Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Ruffles of creamy salmony-apricots and pinkish peaches, the Double Tangerine Butter Cups (Ranunculus asiaticus 'Tangerine') is a fantastic perennial corm that sends up multiple blooms full of fun and juicy hues! Also known as Ranunculus, these Persian Buttercups feature blossoms that open to reveal layer, upon layer. upon LAYER of delicate gossamer petals!
Sweet, romantic, and elegant the Double Tangerine is a favorite among florists! In fact, all it takes is a handful of these for an impressive, unforgettable, and lavished bouquet! To make them even more appealing, these breathtaking flowers last for over a week once cut!
Persian Buttercup Ranunculus, you can expect this plant to produce up to twelve blooms from the smallest tubers and up to thirty with bigger tubers. Other varieties only produce between one and three flowers per plant. Outdoor hardy throughout USDA growing zones 8 to 11, but these corms can be grown as annual accents in northern climates, or dug before threat of frost and stored like Cannas or Dahlias!
Planting and Application:
Outdoors, Double Buttercup blooms arrive and attract bees and butterflies that appear to sip the nectar, squeezing between the many concentric layers of petals! #ProPlantTips for Care:
Ranunculus prefer full sun or partial shade, and well-drained soil and can be used in a multitude of places in the garden. When it comes to caring for this exquisite plant, all you need to do is soak your corms for a few hours, then plant your Ranunculus in the spring with their tendrils down and water them in well. Plant with the 'fingers' of the corms facing downward and several inches under the surface. Add bulb fertilizer to each hole for best results. These spring blooms hide once summer heat kicks in, so deadhead after the flowers fade. Later, trim the leaves down when they turn yellow.
