To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Soft, buttery yellow Sunspire Magnolia Tree (Magnolia x 'Sunspire') is a fantastic ornamental flowering tree with spring blooms arriving a bit later on the scene to extend your enjoyment of these marvelous scented blossoms! Much to the delight of your bees, butterflies and vase arrangements! The fragrant blooms show their stuff among the green foliage that fills out this unique columnar form!
Sunspire gets its good looks from its parentage including native Cucumber Magnolia Trees and Liliiflora Magnolias! The yellow blooms arrive in late spring to avoid any late-season frosts from arriving unexpectedly and killing your floral show! The entire tree fills out with gorgeous green leaves for the remainder of the growing season!
The foliage takes on yellow-to-brown fall color and the unique cone-like seed pods show off their red berries for birds to eat. Deciduous Sunspire Magnolia is hardy throughout USDA growing zones 5 through 8 and can grow to a neat and tidy 15-20 feet in height, but only a modest 5 to 8-foot width.
Planting and Application:

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Magnolia trees thrive in full sun and when planted in rich, neutral to slightly acidic, well-drained soils. Supply new trees with regular moisture using the finger test method and once established, Magnolia do best in average, consistent moisture environments. To help with moisture, supply a 3-4 inch layer of arborist mulch over the entire root system. This columnar form tree requires little pruning other than the removal of dead or damaged branches. Prune immediately after the flowers fade - that way you don't inadvertently remove next year's flower show!
