Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones
Sunkissed with the sunrise or sunset, the Summer Paradise® Spring Valley Peruvian Lily (Alstroemeria x 'Tesvalsprin') brings all the warm tones to your garden! Part of the Summer Paradise® series, the tall, showy bulb plants produce clusters of flowers in a mix of warm, golden yellow petals with dark red flecks, orangy red stripes on the backs of the petals, and orange throats!
The warm funnel-shaped flowers stand upright to better bring in swarms of butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds to your garden beds, pots, and planters! Plus these are a florist favorite, and Spring Valley is elegant as long-stem cut flowers throughout the summer til autumn!
Growing 18-24 inches tall and wide at maturity, Summer Paradise® Alstroemeria can bloom year-round when grown in frost-free areas of USDA planting zones 8 to 11. Growers in Zone 7 can sometimes have their rhizomes overwinter when heavily mulched and planted in a protected location. Northern growers can treat these bulb plants as annual accents in containers or lift them in the winter.
Landscape Application:
These summer flowering bulbs are perfect for your wildflower gardens, Mixed Perennial gardens, and Cottage border! Add an eye-catching display in modern and informal gardens alike, or both in the ground and in raised beds around your pool, seating areas, or foundation hedges! Dress them up or dress them down any way you see fit!
Don't forget to plant extras for your butterflies and hummingbirds when Alstroemeria is planted among your Pollinator borders.
Summer Paradise® Spring Valley Peruvian Lily is a florist's favorite for bouquets and floral design! Plant in your cutting garden or turn any garden into a cut flower garden by planting groupings and rows in the mid-to-back borders of your sun to partial shade gardens!
No matter what growing zone you are in, pot up Spring Valley Alstroemeria on porches and patios as showy specimens and planter thrillers and fillers!
- Golden Yellow Petals Striped Orange, Speckled Red & With Orange Throats
- Compact & Bushy - Lush Bright Green Leaves
- Tall Stems - Great For Cut Flowers & Pollinators
- Summer Through Fall Blooms
- Mid-Back Border Accents, Edging, Groupings & Container Focal Points!
#ProPlantTips for Care:
Plant Alstroemeria in a protected location, these bulb plants grow best in full sun in cooler climates, or part shade in the warmest growing zones. Choose a location with enriched, well-drained soil and provide regular light water until established or consistently in containers. They like to be undisturbed for the first couple of years, so Northern growers should pot up their bulbs and lift the entire planter into a cool dark location for the winter. Mulch well especially going into winter and cut all stems back late fall.
- Full Sun & Partial Shade (Especially In Warmer Climates)
- Enriched Well-Drained Soil
- Likes Regular Moderate Moisture
- Mulched Beds High In Organic Matter
- Prune Back Late Fall
