To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Buying Options for Plants
Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Hardy, resistant, and space-saving, the SUGAR BUZZ® Blue Moon Bee Balm (Monarda x 'Blue Moon') is a gorgeous new entry into the Bee Balm family. It has all of the qualities of traditional Monarda and adds a few new twists to boot!
Blue Moon has a refreshing color scheme. Instead of the shades of reds and pinks that you often see in Bee Balms these days, this is a cool lavender blue that really stands out against the dark green foliage! Blue Moon is remarkably floriferous, blooming constantly all summer long. The flowers won't fade giving you rich color all summer. The foliage is fragrant, which adds to the delightful garden experience.
These fanciful flowers have trumpet-shaped florets and ample nectar resources that bees, butterflies, beneficial insects, and hummingbirds adore! The scented blooms and foliage also make these the perfect cut flowers for bouquets.
This is more compact than other Monarda, but unlike its cousins, SUGAR BUZZ® Bee Balms won't aggressively spread or get into trouble. It grows into a well-mannered rounded clump, rather than a wild and rangy bush. Hardy throughout a wide range of heat and cold climates throughout USDA planting zones 4 to 8.
Landscape Application:
It will still spread to fill a space, but it's bred to be less aggressive than its cousins. Place this one near the front of the border and let it do its thing. You'll love it!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Monarda needs very well-draining soil in full sun to some shade to flower and grow their best. Provide new plants with regular moisture access then after, they should only need supplemental watering during heat and drought. These perennials appreciate mulched enriched beds and deadheading to encourage new blooms. In the fall, prune back the entire plant after frost kills the tops and remove all debris from the area. While resistant to disease and powdery mildew, Bee Balm needs very good air circulation to keep the foliage looking its best, watering at the roots to avoid excess water on the leaves. Divide the clumps in the spring or fall every 3-5 years to maintain their vigor.
