Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Imagine a snowstorm in spring - but one you are happy to see after a long dreary winter! This particular flurry blankets blue-green foliage for a superb display of floral brilliance! That's what you'll experience this spring when you plant a Snow Storm™ Spirea (Spiraea SNOW STORM 'Darsnorm') in your yard. The show begins with what appears to be, at a distance, tiny dots of white scatted amid your delicately scalloped foliage.
As the buds begin to open, those dots become petite blossoms of pristine white, clustered together to form little bouquets amid the branches. It's as delicate, and elegant a sight as you could hope to see! The dome-shaped clusters of flowers can reach up to 8 inches across, so it's easy to see why people love this little shrub. You may just be able to see them through the swarms of pollinators and butterflies that are drawn to these blooms!
Autumn brings yet another show, with the vibrant leaves transitioning to shades of orange and red. Your Spirea are well-behaved deciduous shrub that has a compact nature with spreading branches. Snow Storm is adaptive to a variety of soils, as well as heat and disease tolerance. Pollinators love it, but deer pass it by. Overall, Snow Storm™ Spiraea is a generally low-maintenance shrub!
