Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 3-8
It's hard to decide what's more exciting - the Fritsch Spriea's (Spiraea fritschiana) fall foliage or its glowing white blooms. The Fritsch Spirea adds joy and elegance to the garden without demanding much of your time. Whether you're a green thumb or looking for an easy-to-care-for landscaping addition, this carefree shrub is perfect for you. Not only does this excellent-performing Spirea variety light up with white masses of bright white blooms, but it also offers ravishing fall color.
This charming and cheerful shrub may not grow much taller than hip height, but that doesn't stop it from demanding attention. With glowing clusters of petite white blooms that stand out at the end of its branches and will be completely covered in blossoms! This late spring bloomer erupts with excitement again in later summer if deadheaded. These pure white clusters are flat-topped and contrast delightfully with the dark green foliage.
The Fritsch Spirea's clusters are more rounded than other Spirea varieties, though. Clip off a few clusters for a dramatic flower arrangement with southern charm. With this brilliant bush, your summers will be filled with petite white flowers, happy butterflies, and busy bees. When fall arrives, you will fall in love all over again with this versatile shrub. Its foliage ignites to a vibrant gradation of yellows and oranges.
Planting and Application:
Use your Fritsch Spirea as an informal hedge, fantastic use in a mass planting, or as an accent in your garden bed. The lower growth makes these shrubs fantastic edging while their spread will cover ground as living mulch. Mix among other Spiraea or flowering shrubs for a mixed-shrub border and colorful cottage garden!
This low-maintenance shrub makes a great addition to fill in your butterfly garden with late-summer blooms. Add these blossoms to pollinator and wildlife gardens and cut flower gardens alike! Line a foundation, driveway or sidewalk, or use them as a backdrop along a perennial garden, these are low hedges and edging anywhere you need a pop of color!
- Gorgeous White Blossoms
- Broad Green Foliage & Yellow/Orange Fall Foliage
- Large Clusters of Petite White Blooms

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Plant Spirea in well-drained sunny locations that have moderate moisture. Provide a mulched bed to insulate the root zone and maintain moisture consistency. Cut back your Spirea in spring for massive clusters of blooms in late spring and again in summer when deadheaded. A trim will also keep your Spirea tidy. Just be sure it receives full or part sun and adequate water until established.
- Full Sun & Partial Shade
