Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

Striking and hard to kill, the fantastically white and green splashed Snow Queen Pothos (Epipremnum aureum 'Snow Queen') is a trailing, climbing, rambling gem of a tropical plant!

Also known as the Money Plant and Devil's Ivy, these are nearly fool-proof houseplants and among the easiest to take care of!

The randomized white and green patterns create a stunning visual effect! Prune off trailing stems to add fullness and create a bushy table plant, or let them have free rein to ramble and spill over the edges of hanging baskets. Their roots at each node are advantageous, readily grabbing onto and climbing when given a log or moss-covered support!

Planting and Application:

Hardy in USDA zones 10 and 11, Snow Queen can even be used as a rambling groundcover. Or tuck this bold plant into your mixed planters and large tropical pots to act as a living mulch, spillers or let them climb to be your vertical element!

One neat trick is to use hanging Pothos for screening and privacy - Hang several and let their tendrils cascade down as living curtains to provide light privacy from prying eyes on porches and balconies!

  • These are excellent air cleaning Houseplants
  • Heart-shaped leaves
  • Climbing, trailing, & rambling
  • Great plant for beginners & busy gardeners
  • Snow Queen vs Marble Queen Pothos or other Pothos varieties - Snow Queen has more white in the leaves than green
  • Called Devil’s Ivy due to being nearly impossible to kill and tolerate almost no light. Plus, fast growth can take over in the wild.

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Nearly indestructible and so easy care, Silver Queen Pothos care has few requirements to keep them happy! Bright, indirect light that’s filtered and moderate, yet consistent moisture - never soggy soil.

  • Bright indirect, moderate and low light
  • Keep a regular watering routine to keep soil moist but not soggy - which can lead to root rot
  • Devil’s Ivy care is low - making them a great indoor plant, but fluorescent lighting will make them turn more green than white
  • Provide fertile, well-drained potting soil and drainage holes to prevent soggy conditions
