To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Boxwood Care & Maintenance
This is a classic evergreen shrub that stays narrow, neat and tidy with or without pruning.
- Sunlight: Prefers partial to full sun; tolerates more shade in hotter climates.
- Soil: Thrives in well-drained soil with consistent moisture. Avoid waterlogged soils.
- Watering: Water regularly during the first growing season to establish roots. Mature plants are drought-tolerant but benefit from occasional deep watering.
- Winter Watering: In late fall, give these broadleaved evergreens a nice, long drink before the winter sets in, as they need this moisture in their leaves to protect them against the drying winter winds.
- Prune or Shear: Lightly prune in late spring to maintain shape. Avoid heavy pruning to protect foliage. Or keep them unsheared for a tidy natural look
- Mulching: Apply a 3-4 inch layer of mulch to retain soil moisture and regulate temperature.
Skywalker can be easily pruned to any size you and your landscape needs!
