Starting from its fragrant white blossoms to the dark, near-black, red fruit that's a delight to eat off the tree, to its sweet, sharp excellent Cherry flavor! Good-sized trees when left to grow to full mature size, Skeena Sweet Cherry fills out its picturesque spreading form with lush foliage all summer long. Originating in Canada, Skeena is split and crack resistant so it's perfect for planting in areas of the country where this can be a disheartening issue! Also perfect for areas of the country prone to late spring frosts, the Cherries ripen closer to late July or August in many climates. Skeena is perfect for any sized yard or garden, able to be maintained as large or small as you have room to spare! Full mature size trees reach 12-18 feet in height and 15-20 feet in width, making them wonderful shade trees or delightful groupings for screening and edible landscaping ornamental plantings.
