The sunset captured in a flower, the Siloam Little Girl Daylily's (Hemerocallis 'Siloam Little Girl') blooms capture the vivid colors of a sunset. With glowing throats and breathtaking pinks, this Daylily is one of the most exquisite specimens you will find! This reblooming perennial will gift your garden with award-winning blossoms throughout summer.

The Siloam Little Girl Daylily is so dramatic, it would be the perfect fit for a starring role on The Bold and the Beautiful. Its 4-inch pink blooms catch your eye and steal your heart then wilt within 24 hours, only to be replaced with a fresh new bud! Luckily, there are more flowers where the first ones came from. The Siloam Little Girl Daylily produces bud after bud that will erupt on a daily basis.

These magnificent blooms feature flamingo pink petals with frilly edges and green to gold throats with delicate yellow stamen. The Siloam Little Girl Daylily's colors are made even more eye-catching with a bright pink band that separates their golden throats from the rose-mauve petals.

While you will fall head-over-heels for the Siloam Little Girl Daylily, don't be surprised when your nearby butterflies and hummingbirds try to steal her affection from you. These bold color blooms are a pollinator's favorite. Hardy throughout USDA growing zones 3 to 9, these little diploid perennial ornamentals grow just 18 inches tall and wide.

Planting and Application:

With an ample amount of blooms that reappear all summer long, you will want to plant your Siloam Little Girl Daylily in your cutting garden or along the path to your front door. Their moderate height also makes them an excellent choice to accent your mailbox or the edge of your driveway.

Many gardeners adore the Siloam Little Girl Daylily's performance in mixed borders or en masse plantings. Even when not in full bloom, this plant looks lively and green with a stiff grassy appearance. It produces strong stems and delightfully long, arching leaves which makes it an attractive border option.

Cover eroding hillsides or hard-to-mow slopes! These are tough enough for the hell strip along the road, sidewalk, Rock Garden, and driveway, Daylilies are highly recommended on xeriscaping and fire-scaping plans!

  • Glowing Coral/Peach, Rosy Pinkish-Red Ring & Glowing Yellow Eyes
  • Ruffled Frilly Petals Edges & Blushing Ends
  • Grassy Long Slender Foliage
  • Nectar-Rich Resources For Pollinators & Hummingbirds

#ProPlantTips for Care:

To ensure the best performance of your perennial Siloam Little Girl Daylily, provide it with partial shade or afternoon shade in the hottest climates, or full sun in cooler hardiness zones. Water it well and regularly when it begins to bud and plant it in well-drained medium moisture soil. Daylilies grow in almost any soil and handle drought to wet soil conditions once established. Add a 3-4 inch layer of mulch over the soil surface for best results!

Spent blooms can be deadheaded, then remove entire stems once all the buds are done to keep the plants reblooming. Daylilies are susceptible to rust and some other foliage diseases so for that reason it is very important to cut all of the foliage to the ground in late fall after the plants have been exposed to a couple of frosts. Every 3-5 years, it is recommended you divide the clumps to keep them growing vigorously.

  • Best in Full Sun But Tolerates Partial/Afternoon Shade
  • Moderate Moisture - Low Once Established
  • About Any Well-Drained Soil Type
  • Prune Late Fall, Deadhead Regularly & Divide Every 3-5 Years
  • Easy to Care For & Strong
