To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Buying Options for Plants
Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.
Ever wonder what a larger plant will mean for your landscape? Container Sizes are really all about the age of the plant!
Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

The showy Sienna Glen® Maple Tree (Acer x freemanii 'Sienna') is a naturally occurring hybrid Maple found on an abandoned farmstead in Lake Elmo, Minnesota!
Sienna Glen® has a distinct, upright, pyramidal growth habit which is readily apparent as a young tree, and becomes a broad pyramid when mature. Sienna Glen® exhibits vigorous growth and the branches are borne close together, fine textured, and delicate.
It features showy red flowers along the branches in early spring before the leaves appear. The clusters of flowers bring in hungry bees and then give way to whimsical samaras that flutter and twirl in the breeze.
The wood is harder, stouter, and exhibits less drooping. The smaller, finer texture dark-green leaves have a silvery underside like a Silver Maple but the fall color is a mix of yellow, orange, and red - Sienna Glen® is one of the very hardiest fall-coloring shade trees available!

A Dennis Heins introduction, the Sienna Glen® Maple is used by landscape architects because of its broad pyramidal form, fine texture, and interesting fall coloration! It is a reliable and useful choice with its natural form, hardiness, adaptability to a variety of soil conditions, and low maintenance! Plant your Maple in full sun and in just about any soil type as long as it is well-drained. Water carefully to establish young trees during their first few seasons. After that, they are quite self-sufficient. This Maple will benefit from a regular pruning schedule when young to get it started right, pruning should be done right after they leaf out, so the sap does not bleed from the cut.
