Plant Sentry™
Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.
Standard Shipping Rates
At Nature Hills we handle, package and ship the products you order with the utmost care to ensure healthy delivery. Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the tables below. Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Hyper saturated color! Get bold blooms in violet-magenta splendor with the Senetti® Magenta Bicolor Cineraria (Pericallis x 'Sunsenereba') plants now available at Nature Hills! Dark pink eyes are highlighted by a pure white ring that transforms into the most vivid magenta hue you can imagine! It is shocking to behold in the sun!
The uniform and a densely branched mound of scalloped green leaves are the perfect backdrops for the bold blossoms that smother this entire plant all spring! Often used as an annual in colder growing zones, these can be herbaceous perennials in growing zones 9 through 11.
Senetti® Cineraria varieties are dramatically different from old-fashioned Cineraria. They offer superior cool weather garden performance, durability and vigor! Blooming until the summer heat kicks in, southern gardeners can bring these indoors as summer houseplants or keep them in a filtered sun porch. Northern gardeners can use these like Pansy’s as annuals, or bring them in for the winters as easy-care houseplants!
Planting and Application:
Cineraria are excellent when mixed with spring-flowering bulbs, throughout perennial borders and cottage gardens for an incredible burst of juicy color. Cheerful gift plants that are also often used as flowering houseplants, in cool-season hanging baskets and mixed into patio planters as accents and thrillers!
Senetti® Magenta Bi-Color is as vibrant as the butterflies that will stop by for a visit! Add fresh color to any lightly sunny or shady location around the garden, but for the most impact, use rows of these small, tidy perennials to line garden paths, edge garden beds and add a burst of color along your foundation or around your mailbox garden!
- Daisy-Like Blooms
- Vivid Magenta & White Bi-Color Petals
- Dense Multi-Branched Mound of Green Foliage
- Gift Plant, Containers, Houseplant, Mixed-Spring Borders
- Annual or Perennial (Zones 9-11)
#ProPlantTips for Care:
Cineraria do best in the cooler growing seasons, tolerating full sun in northern climates and partial, filtered sun in the heat. They need consistently moist, well-drained soil and a thick mulch layer to keep roots cool and hydrated. Deadhead to keep blooms returning!
- Full Sun & Partial Shade
- Requires Consistently Moist Well-Drained Soil
- Mulch Beds Thickly to Hold Moisture & Cool Roots
- Rarely Damaged By Deer
- Deadhead Often, Prune After Flowering
Order the Senetti® Magenta Bicolor Cineraria for yourself or someone in need of cheering up this year from NatureHills.com! But hurry, these exciting new varieties won’t last long!
