Plant Sentry™
Plant Sentry™
Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.
Standard Shipping Rates
At Nature Hills we handle, package and ship the products you order with the utmost care to ensure healthy delivery. Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the tables below. Please note that some items include an additional handling surcharge, these will be noted on the item's product page.

Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Bold purplish-blue and white pinwheels! The Senetti® Blue Bicolor Cineraria is a colorful delight and breath of fresh air after a long dull winter! Two-tone blooms brighten anyplace you plant them! Forming a neat and tidy mound of green foliage that becomes smothered in blooms all spring!
Senetti® Cineraria varieties are dramatically different from old-fashioned Cineraria. They offer superior cool weather garden performance, durability and vigor! That means more options for gardeners to find new and exciting locations for these bright flowers! Once the spring flush of blooms is done, prune them off and enjoy a rebloom once summer’s heat is through!
Blooming until the summer heat kicks in, southern gardeners can bring these indoors as summer flowering plants or keep them in a filtered sun porch. Northern gardeners can use these like Pansies as annuals, or bring them in for the winters as easy-care houseplants!
Planting and Application:
Blue Bicolor is as vibrant as the pollinators that stop by for the welcome nectar resource! Add fresh color to any lightly sunny or shady location in the landscape! For huge impact, use rows of line garden paths, edge garden beds and add incredible color to your foundation or around your mailbox garden! Compact, neat and tidy plants that work great for yards of all sizes!
Cineraria look fantastic with spring-flowering bulbs! They are bright beacons when planted throughout perennial borders and cottage gardens, while you wait for later emerging plants to wake up from winter. Cheerful gift plants, easy-care flowering houseplants, and vibrant accents and thrillers in cool-season hanging baskets and patio planters!
- Bright Purple-Blue & White Blooms
- Bright Green Textured Foliage
- Mounded Multi-Branched Vigorous Growth
- Gift Plants, Container Plants & Landscape Accent
- Annual or Perennial (Zones 9-11)
#ProPlantTips for Care:
Cineraria handle full sun in cooler summers, and partial, filtered sun in the hot growing zones. They need regular watering and well-drained soil. Provide a thick mulch layer to keep the roots cool and hydrated. Deadhead and prune after flowering to keep blooms returning!
- Filtered Sun & Partial Shade
- Requires Consistently Moist Well-Drained Soil
- Mulch For Moisture Retention & Cool Roots
- Rarely Damaged By Deer
- Deadhead Often, Prune After Flowering
Senetti® Blue Bicolor Cineraria will have your head spinning with vibrant color! Anywhere you need some fantastic spring color or a gift that will make an impression, be sure to order one of these two-tone flowering plants from NatureHills.com today!
