To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Fragrant peppermint stripes, the Santiago Fragrant Variety Amaryllis (Amaryllis 'Santiago') are enormous open trumpet-shaped blooms that are striped deep ruby-red slender petals with bold white stripes down the center of each curved petal! The green throats add to their delight.
The bright green strappy leaves sprout fast from the large bulb followed by the sturdy stems that hold several buds that open into broad satellites of bi-color blossoms! The sword-like green leaves are perfect for showcasing these enormous flowers and they look gorgeous on their own even when not in bloom.
Santiago Fragrant Amaryllis is a tropical flowering bulb that can be forced indoors for winter décor or planted outside in USDA growing zones 9 to 10. #ProPlantTips for Care:
Preferring full sun outdoors and bright indirect light indoors, Amaryllis bulbs should be planted in enriched, well-drained soil, pointed end up, with the neck and top third of the bulb above the soil, then water and mulch well. Disliking soggy locations, water sparingly to ensure the bulb has just enough moisture to grow. Amaryllis should be dead-headed as soon as the blooms fade, but the foliage looks handsome all growing season! Keep the handsome foliage intact and place them in a bright sunny window to make food for the bulb.
