To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Buying Options for Plants
Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.
Ever wonder what a larger plant will mean for your landscape? Container Sizes are really all about the age of the plant!
Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.
- Popular sizes of select trees are 1 foot, 2 feet, 3 feet, etc.

Low-growing cheerful little white blossoms on the Sageleaf Rock Rose (Cistus salvifolius) are sure-fire groundcover accents that brighten any bed or border in the sun! Resembling their namesake, the foliage even smells aromatic! The carpets of sage green leaves will be smothered in cheerful flowers all summer long!
Pollinators adore these nectar and pollen-rich blossoms! And those bare spots and voids throughout the garden will benefit from the year-round carpet of greenery that acts as groundcover and living mulch! The crinkled gray-green broadleaved evergreen foliage creates flat mounds that spill and cascade over the ground
Sometimes spelled as one word, Rockrose, and sometimes called Prostrate Rock Rose, Sage-Leaf Rock Roses are incredibly water-wise, heat, salt, and deer-resistant throughout USDA growing zones 8 through 11, shining in the heat and sun without shrinking or fading.
Planting and Application:
Sageleaf Rock Rose is an ideal living mulch and flowering groundcover. Growing just 2-4 feet in height when in bloom, the mats can spread 4-6 feet wide! That's some wide-spreading weed-blocking beauty that looks great all year long! Sun gardens, arid climates, and coastal gardens can all enjoy these rugged little lovelies!
Let spill over garden edges, over the tops of retaining walls, ramble over the bare ground between larger shrubs, and as a pretty fringe at the base of trees! This Rock Rose won't mind as long as it gets plenty of sun! Ideal in Rock Gardens and Xeric installations because of its ability to thrive with less water!
Sage-Leaf Rock Rose is a fantastic flowering lawn alternative, for hard-to-mow slopes and eroding sunny hillsides! That hell strip along paths, driveways, sidewalks, and the street never had it so good! Even large planters on the sunny porch or patio bring cheer with these lovely spillers!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Rock Roses are full sun shrubby plants, soaking up at least 6 hours of direct sun a day or more. Highly adaptable to a wide range of well-drained soil, with regular moisture access for young broadleaf evergreen shrubby perennials. Avoid poor soils that don't drain well to avoid root rot. However, these plants become quite drought-tolerant once established.
Rock Roses need very little pruning, but if you do choose to trim, do so only after they are done flowering. Provide a 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch over the soil surface to help with insulating the roots and provide moisture retention.
