Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

How to Use Saaz Hops in the Landscape
Long Hops bines need a sturdy trellis, lots of sunshine and excellent air circulation. The traditional pole trellis system adds a showy structural detail to your landscape.
Hops are frankly gorgeous. You'll enjoy a magnificent, Olde World feature and harvest a valuable cash crop at the same time.
Narrow sidearms enable closer spacing in orchard rows, but we recommend you give Saaz plenty of elbow room. Plant in-row at least 30 inches apart on center.
Create a vertical screening treatment in a strategic manner. Block unsightly views and gain a private oasis from midsummer through fall as the bines reach their full height.
Use this plant as a backdrop in a Victory Garden. Or construct an L-shaped planting on the south and west side of a long table for a delightfully shaded outdoor dining room.
Enjoy the process of planning your "ground to glass". After all, Saaz Hops deserve your most thoughtful landscape ideas, don't they?
#ProPlantTips for Care
Saaz Hops needs great air circulation to keep them healthy. To grow them in the traditional way, set tall poles in concrete footings and string sturdy twine from the top to a ground level stake.
Give them at least six hours of direct sunlight a day. Ensure the planting site has well-drained soil; or elevate the roots in a mound of fertile sandy loam.
Hop plants need a moderate amount of water on a regular basis. Mulch over the root system to help the soil stay cool, but pull it back from directly touching the stems.
Train young plants by wrapping them clockwise around your support structure. Do that pleasurable task as needed.
Consider adding a schedule of protective early treatments for mildew. After the bines reach 10 feet or so, remove the lowest leaves to increase air flow at ground level.
Order Saaz Hops from Nature Hills now and we'll ship when the time is right for planting in your area. Track the shipment from our fields right to your doorstep.
