This Maple tree wants to make your life as carefree as possible and is very low maintenance once planted in full sun and well-drained soil. After that, the tree will take care of itself and go to work illuminating your landscaping! A 3-4 inch deep layer of mulch around the roots supports your tree's growth, and prune your tree in the spring, but wait until after the sap has finished running to avoid sticky situations.
