This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Brooding dark and saturated color, the Red Asiatic Lily (Lilium x asiatica (Red cv)) is an incredible showy bloom that is a real stunner when the cluster of buds are fully open! Huge blooms are long-lasting, these are easy to care for cold-hardy bulbs that multiply in number every year!
Forming dense clumps of upright growing stems that are lined with multiple rows of strappy green foliage, Asiatic Lilies are magnificent star-shaped blossoms with a spray of stamen and pistils erupting from the centers. These are gorgeous blooms that look as fantastic in the garden as they do in a vase!
Red Lilies go well with almost every other color of flower and bloom for a long time during the late spring and early summer months. Cold hardy down to zone 4 and heat tolerant throughout nearly all but the coldest US growing zones, the only thing these tough perennial bulbs can’t handle is soggy wet soil.
Planting and Application:
Asiatic Lily looks fantastic in pots and planters as a vivid thriller and focal point plant. Specimen plantings in containers are an eye-catching centerpiece in garden beds and porch pots alike! The butterflies and bees will be arriving in droves to sip the nectar. Plant in rows and groupings in garden beds and borders for the same effect, bridging the gap between spring ephemerals and later summer blossoms in the cottage, perennial and cut flower border.
Red Lilies are fantastic gift plants for almost all occasions. Plant in cutting beds for incredible floral arrangements, where a single stem of these blooms creates a long-lasting bouquet! Pair with Ornamental grasses, tall Salvia and Penstemon or with airy Columbine, and of course Roses and other Asiatic Lilies!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Asiatic Lilies need full sun or part shade and very well-drained soil. Tolerating any kind of soil that isn’t soggy. Provide enriched organic soil and a thick layer of mulch to keep the bulbs insulated. Divide every few years. Deadhead but leave the foliage to make food for the bulbs until frost.
