Buttery hues and layers upon layers of ruffles, the REALFLOR® Real Charmer Shasta Daisy (Leucanthemum x superbum 'Real Charmer) will charm you indeed! Large bright yellow disks filled with pale buttercream yellow feathery ray petals create quite the spectacle as they wave above the mounds of deep green foliage!
A mid-sized perennial with a creeping spreading mound of deep green leaves, Real Charmer forms 15-18 inch wide clumps and kicks off the summer with these ruffled and fringed blossoms in June. With some attentive deadheading, you'll enjoy wave after wave of rebloom until September and beyond! Talk about a treat for your bees and butterflies! Providing nectar and pollen for most of the growing season!
REALFLOR® Real Charmer Shasta Daisy is a new and improved version of the classic garden perennial! Featuring unusual blooms, creamy yellow color, and a highly floriferous nature, Real Charmer also features improved disease resistance! Heat and chill hardy throughout USDA growing zones 5 to 9, Daisies are highly versatile and adaptable herbaceous perennials!
Planting and Application:
Shasta Daisy plants are traditional Cottage garden and English Border garden plants, but Real Charmer kicks things up a few notches with their unique feathery blossoms! What hasn't changed is their ability to brighten any garden setting, add cheer to Perennial gardens, and you will have long-lasting blossoms to bouquets and floral arrangements!
Real Charmer is compact and easy to tuck into existing beds and borders to add unique yet cheerful blooms that are fun and formal at the same time! The perfect little addition to a Children's Garden or to dress up your front door - both in pots and planters or in the ground without sacrificing space! Dot them through a garden alternating with larger shrubs or use them as facer plants to hide larger plants' bare legs.
Add Shasta Daisies as edging along your garden fronts so the compact greenery can add a finished look. Punctuate a pathway with rows or groupings of Real Charmer - that buttery hue just melds with every other color and style with ease!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Shasta Daisies are hardy, low-maintenance perennials that do best when grown in full sun but can tolerate some afternoon shade (at the cost of the number of blooms), and grow best in well-drained soil. It's recommended to water Daisy plants weekly when rainfall is less than an inch, but they will not tolerate excessive moisture or soggy soil in the winter.
Provide a good layer of mulch, at least 3-4 inches around the roots, especially in drier climates, and enrich the soil with plenty of humus and compost. Remove faded flower heads to encourage more blooms and prune the clumps back in late fall when the foliage yellows. Daisy clumps can be divided every few years to promote better growth and vigor.
- Best in Full Sun
- Moderate Regular Moisture & Appreciates Mulched Beds
- Dislikes Soggy Winter Soil
- Any Type of Well-Drained Organic Soil
- Deadhead For Rebloom & Prune Late Autumn
