If you have mature trees on your property, you need to know about this flower factory. It actually prefers partial shade, and gives you delightfully large white blooms from late spring through late summer!
You can count on the stunning, bell-shaped flowers of Rapido White Carpathian Bellflower (Campanula carpatica 'Rapido White') to add a designer look to your garden. Grow them along your borders, or use them in your exterior containers.
Enjoy months of blooms from these petite powerhouses. They are one of the best Belflowers for landscape use, with a mounded habit and lush, dark green foliage.
These early starters are one of the first Campanulas to bloom. Dwarf Rapido White also features pristine white blooms that point upward, instead of down.
You'll really see those showy blossoms! Each cute little mound produces an astounding amount of blooms.
Tight, light green buds open into an openly charming display of cup-shaped flowers. There is no guile or artifice to this plant. It simply loves to bloom, and those tender blossoms will really shine for you.
Best of all, the flowers keep coming from spring and for several months into summer for you. They easily bridge the gap between spring-blooming bulbs and Hydrangeas.
Hardy and easy to grow, Rapido White Carpathian Bellflower performs beautifully all across the United States. They will tolerate full sun in Northern climates but need a cool, sheltered spot in the afternoon further South.
Feel good about this restful and luxuriant choice. After all, you are supporting the nectar needs of local hummingbirds and pollinators!
You are sure to find a spot for these valuable, part shade-loving beauties. Order Rapido White Carpathian Bellflower from Nature Hills today!
How to Use Rapido White Carpathian Bellflower in the Landscape
For an elegant look, repeat the use of these lovely white bells throughout shady spots. They look outstanding in a long, solid row or massed planting.
Use it as a long-blooming, low-maintenance edging plant at the front of your border. Space them four inches apart, and they'll grow together to create a pretty white ribbon of color.
Use Bellflower in narrow planting beds near your front entrance to brighten up the east or west side of mature evergreen trees. If you have large roots to contend with, create a raised bed about a foot wide and plant them three deep along the length of your bed.
You can also use them as a fill plant in exterior containers to decorate either side of your front entryway. Create a "moment" in your forgotten areas, such as a sideyard.
It's the little details that make a garden successful! Look for opportunities to make your visitors smile.
Rapido White Carpathian Bellflower can be used as part of a Moon Garden. These restful respites look great in the evening hours. Enjoy their tender appeal with a glass of great wine and funny friends.
Of course, their diminutive size makes a sweet addition to a Children's Garden. The engaging blooms look like they stepped out of a Fairy Tale!
Use them to complement ephemeral Columbine, and underplant with Grape Hyacinth. Pop a funny gnome statue and a Fairy bird bath nearby.
They need sharply-drained soil to perform at their best. Why not use them as a specimen in a planned Rock Garden? They'll set off the look of a boldly-colored boulder to perfection; never competing, only enhancing.
#ProPlantTips for Care
Give them at least four hours of sunlight a day. Bellflowers need very well-drained soil and a moderate amount of water on a regular basis.
Spend a bit of time tidying up the spent blooms, if you like. We like to call it "me time" out in the garden. Grab your iced tea, and enjoy the tiny details that make your landscape so special.
In early spring, trim back all of last year's foliage. Start anticipating the new growing season, it won't be long!
You'll love the high quality of our professional-grade plant materials. Add Rapido White Carpathian Bellflower to your landscape design this season.
