This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Growing Zones 9-10
Sweet and petite, the Rapido Amaryllis (Amaryllis 'Rapido') is a bright satiny red, winter-blooming bulb that lights up the interiorscape without taking up as much space as its larger cousins! Featuring multiple blooms per sturdy stem and often 2-3 stems per bulb, these pint-sized holiday decorations are sure to make up for their size with sheer color!
These wide-spreading petals form huge, dramatic flowers, Amaryllis blooms can last for several days, with multiple buds and stems that will extend your enjoyment for weeks! Once the flowers fade, Amaryllis retains its strappy, handsome green foliage and is supported on strong stems that are perfect for showcasing these enormous flowers!
Rapido Amaryllis are low-maintenance large bulbs that do best with protection from direct all-day sunlight and are cold-sensitive but are lovely annual accents in spring porch and patio containers. Hardy outdoors as perennial bulbs throughout USDA growing zones 9 - 10.
Planting and Application:
Indoors, you can force these easy-to-grow bulbs in a shallow dish or container for winter décor! Rapido Amaryllis has upright growth, forming compact mounds of greenery that look great for the rest of the growing season, then once they die back can be stored in a cool dark place, or just use as an annual accent.
Add these dramatic specimens to your porch containers and sunny patio pots and in groupings for eye-catching specimen displays throughout your home, indoors and out! Tuck into a special urn to showcase these blossoms or mix among other winter-forced bulbs and corms.
- Huge Velvety Bright Red Blooms
- Long-Lasting & Multiple Buds Per Stem
- Smaller Sized Clumps of Strappy Green Leaves
- Perennial Bulbs
- Force For Winter Décor, Gift Plant & Containers
#ProPlantTips for Care:
Amaryllis bulbs should be planted in enriched, well-drained soil, pointed end up, with the neck and top third of the bulb above the soil, then water and mulch well. Fall-planted bulbs dislike soggy locations, so water sparingly. Deadhead as the flowers fade but keep the greenery, this way they can continue to make food for the bulb. Once the foliage yellows, then you can prune it away. Store bulbs in cold growing zones in a cool dark place for the winter.
- Full Sun For The Strongest Stems
- Moderately Moist Well-Drained Soil
- Deadhead After Bloom & Clean Mound When Leaves Yellow
- Mulch Well
- Dislikes Soggy Soil
