To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

The beautiful blend of magenta, pink and white quality bulbs that make up the Prosperity Gladiolus Blend (Gladiolus 'Prosperity') are striking orchid-like blooms that have ruffled edges and long-lasting blooms! Butterflies, bees, and Hummingbirds love these flouncy intensely hued blossoms!
Backed by a dense clump of vertical sword-like foliage and held in alternating spires on a tall, sturdy single stem! Sword Lilies bloom in midsummer from space-saving perennial, flowering corms. If you want a longer display and more blooms, plant a few corms every two weeks for a staggered bloom all summer!
Flowering from the bottom up, the spikes can bloom for two weeks! Perennial in USDA growing zones 8-10, colder growing zones can still enjoy Gladiolus as annual accents, or dig the corms up in the fall once the foliage has yellowed and store them for the winter in a frost-free location as you would Canna Lily or Elephant Ear bulbs.
Planting and Application:
In cottage gardens or perennial borders, Gladiolus are high-impact when planted in drifts and rows in tight spots, groupings in corners, great for lining paths, or in a tidy row or zigzag along a fence line or rock wall. No matter how big your garden is, you will easily tuck these narrow-growing flowering corms into existing and established gardens! This gorgeous color goes well with nearly any and all other flower and foliage colors in the garden.
Great vertical texture in large mixed-planters, porch and patio pots, or planted as specimen groupings in tall, high-style containers, the compliments will roll in when you place one on either side of your sunny front door! Any garden becomes a cut flower garden with a few Espresso Gladiolas, and everyone will love the tall, upscale vase arrangements you make with a few of these incredible, long-lasting blooms!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Gladiola corms flower their best in full sun and partial shade in a protected location or with adequate support to keep your blooms from flopping. Plant your corms in well-drained, organically rich soil that has moderate, yet consistent moisture.
Deadhead after the flowers fade and keep the leaves until they turn yellow to make food for the corms. In the fall, lift your bulbs out of the ground and store them in a nylon stocking or brown paper bag in a cool, dry location with good ventilation above freezing. Each year you’ll notice more and more little corms forming around the base of the parent corm for more blooms each year!
