Developed in Iowa in the 1920s, and able to withstand fierce winter winds down to -20 degrees Fahrenheit, the delicious Polly White Peach (Prunus persica 'Polly White') provides a harvest of exceptional flavor! Give it a sunny home in well-drained soil, and it will reward you with tasty peaches that feature white skin with a slightly crimson blush.

Yes, you can grow your own Peach Tree! The tree has a fabulously ornamental appeal, and you'll love harvesting the tasty treats. Each peach is said to be white as snow, and sweet as honey.

Polly White Peaches are exceptional, medium-sized fruit that contains a high sugar content. It's so easy to prep these freestone fruits for desserts and cooking, as the flesh falls easily from the pit.

The Polly Peach Tree blooms late, so it's not as susceptible to late frosts. It doesn't require a pollinator, and your fruit ripens in mid-summer. Medium-sized fruit, they’re healthy, portable snacks!

Add gorgeous white blooms for pollinators, fantastic branching structure, ornamental green foliage and a wonderfully shaped tree, and Polly White Peach will become your new favorite garden addition!

How to Use Polly White Peach In The Landscape

A lovely ornamental tree in its own right, the great shaped tree has wonderful late spring blossoms in snowy white with lots of petals. Each gorgeous bloom is centered with a golden crown of stamen.

The long, narrow and pointed leaves have a slight ripple to them, making the summer form a gorgeous addition to the landscape! Casting shade over your garden beds and seating areas, park a lawn chair or picnic blanket beneath the spreading branches and relax in the cooling shade!

The fruit is perfect for fresh eating, without any acidic or tartness, the super-sweet white flesh is delectable! Don’t worry if your tree is producing more than you, your friends and neighbors can eat, these fruit stores for a short period of time plus are fantastic for sauces, jams, jellies and summer peach pie!

A fantastic specimen tree or anchor for your side yard gardens, and of course, any home orchard should have a Peach Tree too! Prune small as you need to tuck them where you can, plus so you can easily reach your juicy harvest!

#ProPlantTips For Care

All fruit trees require full sun for optimal growth and harvest, plant your Polly White Peach in at least 6 hours of sunlight per day.

Widely adaptable to all types of soil conditions, the best type is fertile, well-drained soil with moderate, yet consistent moisture. Provide supplemental watering during fruiting, during summers and in times of drought.

A generous layer of mulch helps retain soil moisture as well as insulate the root system from heat and chill. Add Nature Hills Root Booster while planting for a life-long symbiotic relationship with the tiny feeder roots.

Prune in summer to control the size, remove suckers and water growth, but prune in winter to open the canopy to sunlight and air circulation, and to remove damaged, dead or diseased branching. Head over to our Garden Blog for more tips and tricks for caring for your Peach tree!

Store-bought white-fleshed peaches will never taste as sweet as when they are freshly picked. Order your own high-quality Polly White Peach today and start growing peaches in your own yard! Go to NatureHills.com to get started right away!
