Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

How to Use Pink Anemone Clematis in the Landscape

Pink Anemone Clematis absolutely shines as a climber. Plant this vine somewhere it can grow upwards such as a trellis or an arbor.

Fences are another fantastic vertical surface that clematis will scale with ease! Is there a segment of fence or siding that isn't particularly pleasing to look at? Train a clematis against it and watch as it's transformed into the showiest part of your garden!

Try adding a Pink Anemone Clematis at the base of your mailbox to turn a necessary front yard item into a flowering work of art!

This is also a great selection for espalier in a flat fan shape along the back fence. What a fun accent for your patio!

#ProPlantTips for Care

Clematis care can be easy with the right knowledge! If you don't consider yourself to be a master clematis caregiver, no worries! There are a few tips and tricks to help you along the way!

For the happiest plant, try to locate its roots in a partially shaded area where it can grow up into full sun. This can mean deliberately planting it somewhere with shade, or planting a shallow rooted groundcover near Pink Anemone's base.

Finding the correct soil to plant your clematis in is easy. They are generally widely adaptable as long as it's well draining!

Pink Anemone is more resistant to clematis wilt than other varieties and generally deer resistant.

This specimen flowers on last year's wood so if you'd like to prune, make sure to do so directly after Pink Anemone is done blooming for the year. Otherwise, you risk reducing next year's flower power!

Note that Pink Anemone Clematis will take time to emerge each spring. However, once they do, they grow quite fast! A little patience goes a long way when dealing with these flowering vines.

As the trendles start growing, it greatly helps to give them a little guidance. Feel free to arrange the vines against its vertical counterpart until the vine latches on and continues to climb on its own.

Don't wait, there will never be a better time to buy a Pink Anemone Clematis. You'll be so pleased with the quality when ordering from the expert growers at Nature Hills Nursery!
