To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

The JUNIOR™ Dream Tall Garden Phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Junior Dream') has fragrant, rich purple flowers with a darker-colored eye on short sturdy stems. Blooming all summer long, JUNIOR™ Dream is an easy-to-grow perennial that will become a definite favorite of your perennial garden. This JUNIOR™ series Tall Garden Phlox has mildew-resistant lance-shaped mounds of green foliage.
Attracting butterflies, JUNIOR™ Dream will become a mainstay of purple color all summer! Create a lovely fresh bouquet or feed Hummingbirds. You will soon realize that Phlox plants become the backbone of your summer perennial gardens!
It is one of the JUNIOR™ Phlox series that contains mildew-resistant plants about 18 - 22 inches tall and about as wide. The JUNIOR™ Series branches close to the crown, producing shorter and much bushier plants with normal-sized flower heads that are very showy! Growing throughout USDA growing zones 3 to 9, these dwarf Tall Garden Phlox are heat and cold hardy! JUNIOR™ Dream Phlox is drought-tolerant, therefore suitable for Xeriscaping, and is recommended for Fire-Wise landscaping!

Don't worry about planting this Garden Phlox everywhere because it is ultra-easy to grow for the newest or busiest gardener, and this Phlox can be planted in Rock Gardens, or as a border along hot and sunny pathways and as edging!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
JUNIOR™ Dream needs to be planted in a full sun area in well-drained soil. Once Phlox are stressed, they will usually develop some degree of mildew, so plant these herbaceous perennial Phlox in a cool, slightly shaded (afternoon shade) location, and provide humus, moist soil and a 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch for best results.
Deadhead after the flowers fade to encourage a rebloom. The plants will continue to bloom on the bushy laterals and if the old flowers are deadheaded. Then prune your Phlox back in late autumn after frost has reduced these herbaceous perennials down for the year. Every 3-5 years, it's recommended to divide your clumps to maintain vigor and provide you with extra plants to expand your enjoyment. If you live in high Deer pressure areas, be sure to use Deer Repellent during planting, guided by the instructions on the label.
