To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

When asked to picture a long-living tree, you might go for the favorites like Oak, Elm, or Maple. However, it's likely the Bald Cypress will outlive them all! The Peve Minaret Dwarf Bald Cypress (Taxodium distichum 'Peve Minaret') brings that lifelong presence in a bite-sized package!
Well, bite-sized might be a bit of a stretch but it won't grow much taller than during its lifetime. It probably won't get much rounder than you either! Wonderfully space-saving, these deciduous conifer lookalikes grow a new set of dense mint green leaves each year! It'll hold on to that color through the summer and then go out with a bang each fall turning a playful coppery orange fall hue before losing its leaves.
The tall and narrow form is great if you aren't working with a lot of space. It'll fit in tight areas like a champ while delivering dependable color and texture year after year throughout USDA planting zones 5 to 9. Growing just 8 to 10 feet in height, and 5-6 feet wide at maturity.
Planting and Application:
Great for small and large landscapes alike, try planting Peve Minaret as a fantastic small-scale accent or specimen. Place yours at the corner of your home to soften the edges, or along a sunny side of an outbuilding. Raise onto a front yard berm to create a lovely specimen planting or plant as a conversation piece around your backyard seating areas and great street trees.
Multiples and rows become beautiful groupings and privacy screens on the border of your property or use them to separate your patio from flower beds.
