Parry's Agave

Spiky balls of concentric rugged beauty, the Parry's Agave Plant (Agave parryi) is a unique and beneficial desert plant that looks fantastic in your Xeric landscape and sunny gardens! The bold blue-green leaves form tight rosettes of plump, succulent leaves, each accented by a black edge of toothy short spines.

Planting and Application:

An interesting perennial succulent native to the deserts of North and Central America. Thick rigid leaves are silvery blue-silvery green leaves with a short dark spine on the tips to keep trespassers from crossing boundaries and encourage foot traffic to stay on a pathway. 

Parry's Agave is an incredible formal accent when spaced in orderly groupings or rows, but also looks great mixed among other succulents, Agaves, and Xeric plants in Rock Gardens and arid climate gardens too!
