This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Growing Zones 6-9
Exciting reblooming trusses of Perfecto Mundo® Orange Azalea (Rhododendron 'NCRX6') bring a vibrant accent to your garden! You'll be fired up at the profuse blooming display in spring; and again in midsummer and fall on new wood.
The flower density of these well-behaved garden shrubs is truly outstanding! Large trusses simply "pop" against dark green broad-leaved evergreen foliage and lushly cover their dense, spreading growth habit.
Planting and Application:
Be one of the first on your block to take great delight in the Perfecto Mundo line, which was developed at North Carolina State University and selected by Proven Winners®. These bold orange rebloomers have successfully passed extensive and rigorous field-testing for high performance and disease resistant to common pests like lacebug.
- Create a splashy focal point in partial shade with a colorful layered band in the mid-layer of your design. Each single blossom comes in shades of orange, and each is decorated with long, noteworthy stamens.
- Azaleas are always sophisticated, and this cultivar adds a lively charm all it's own. Pair them with white blooming Hydrangea shrubs and you'll make them both sparkle with the effective contrast of hue and flower form.
- Low-growing Perfecto Mundo Orange Azalea makes a striking hedge on the east or north side of your home. Plant them three feet apart on center for a low, solid hedge; measuring from the center of one to the center of the next.
- Grow Orange Azaleas in outdoor garden containers for many years with proper care. Boost the feeling of dynamic energy on an urban Rooftop Garden where tall buildings cast long shadows.
- Play on their underlying salmon-orange color tones with a collection of chartreuse Hosta at their feet. Go as flamboyant as you feel...this Perfecto Mundo Orange can handle it!
#ProPlantTips for Care:
Choose your planting site carefully, as Azaleas will perform best in well-drained soil with 4-6 hours of direct sunlight daily. Hot summers in USDA Zones 9 - 10 beg for afternoon shade.
- Azaleas also need slightly acidic soil with a lower pH; apply a three inch layer of pine straw over the roots to keep them cool and moist. Azaleas shouldn't be planted too deeply...keep the soil at the same level they grew in at the nursery, or mound up to improve drainage.
- Supplemental water should be given on a regular basis during times you don't receive rainfall. Weed the surrounding areas, as the shallow roots resent having nearby competition.
- Prune to shape them right after the first flush of blooms is finished in spring. Apply a quality fertilizer designed for ericaceous flowering plants and follow the label instructions.
