Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

Big double layer pompom of petals! The deliciously pink Pecher Peony (Paeonia lactiflora ‘Pecher’) is a semi-double flower of pale pink and creamy-white petals! The outer petals occasionally display a hairline edge of red streaks! With a wide layer of outer petals and a rounded dollop of confectionery-worthy center petals, you can have your cake and eat it too! Well…in this case smell it too!

Pecher is fantastically scented and a dreamy-looking bloom for your beds and borders! Don’t be surprised if you want to plant a few extras in your garden just so you can bring those glorious blossoms indoors for your bouquets! Imagine waking up to the sight and scent of these lovelies by your bedside table? Host a party with these dessert-tray-worthy flowers on the table!

Pecher Peonies are cold hardy and long-lived herbaceous perennials. So easy-care, you’ll wonder why you haven’t planted more of them around your landscape! Your local pollinators and neighbors won’t mind one bit!

Planting and Application:

Peonies are classic Cottage garden, perennial border and cutting garden plants! The big fluffy blossoms add grace and elegance anywhere they’re planted throughout the late spring and early summers. Sized great for containers in cold-protected locations, porch, patio and even balcony gardeners can still include these perfumed lovelies into their outdoor spaces!

Pecher mixed beautifully with other perennials and happily shades early emerging bulbs with their rich green foliage, while later on acting as a fantastic backdrop for later emerging summer perennials! Plant in rows and groupings along walkways or in front of foundation planting shrubs to hide bare stems.

  • Big Ruffled Pink & Cream Blooms
  • Fragrant & Semi-Double
  • Mounded Green Foliage
  • Low-Maintenance, Cold Hardy & Long-Lived
  • Low Hedge, Containers & Specimen

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Bareroot Peony thrives in the full sun, but tolerates part shade, however, you’ll notice fewer blossoms. Plant in soil that has excellent drainage and moderate moisture.

  • Full Sun & Part Shade
  • Very Well-Drained Soil
  • Disease Resistant
  • Deer-Resistant
  • Deadhead After Bloom & Prune to the Ground After Frost

Bareroot Peonies are shipped as nice 3-5 eye divisions. Their woody roots are not uniform, it is normal for each root to look slightly different. Plant with the eyes just below surface level with the woody roots spread out underneath. Once planted, water and mulch thoroughly.

Pecher Peony plants are just the confectionery wonders your garden needs this year! Order yours now at NatureHills.com!
