Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

Deeply-hued and fully saturated color, the Orange Asiatic Lily (Lilium x asiatica (orange cv)) features bold, deep orange blooms with a spattering of speckles on the petals! Backed by tall vertical stems that are covered in a fringe of lush green strappy foliage!

Featuring multiple buds per stem, you'll enjoy more and more stems from this upright clump-forming hardy bulb. This also gives you a long bloom time to enjoy these fruity orange stars from late spring until early summer! Your pollinators and vases indoors will also benefit from these large blooms!

Asiatic Lilies are highly adaptable and hard-to-kill blooms! Cold and heat tolerant in growing zones 4 through 10, these Asiatic perennial Lily bulbs, leaves, and flowers are also deer and rabbit-resistant. Plant in any sunny well-drained location for years of enjoyment.

Planting and Application:

Asiatic Lilies are fantastic cut flowers, with a single stem filling a vase without the overpowering fragrance! Plant a few extra bulbs around your cutting gardens, pollinator gardens, and perennial borders so you'll have plenty to go around! Great in groupings and rows, these are space-saving plants that form tidy clumps - great along a pathway or back of the border garden.

Just the right size for containers and planters, any sunny porch or patio, garden bed, or border regardless of size can include these focal points and thriller flowers! Great border garden plants, the tall stems wave above other summer blooming plants and mix wonderfully with waving Ornamental grasses, sultry red Roses, flouncy Peonies, and tall Salvia and Coneflowers.

  • Dark Orange Star-Shaped Blooms
  • Multiple Buds & Long Bloom Time
  • Sturdy Stems & Green Leaves
  • Hardy Perennial Bulbs - Cut Flowers & Pollinator-Friendly
  • Cut Flowers, Planters, Gifts, Beds & Borders

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Asiatic Lilies love the sun but do appreciate afternoon shade in the hottest climates. Plant in about any well-drained soil with moderate moisture and fertility. Deadhead after bloom but leave the foliage until frost so they can make food for the bulbs, then prune to the ground when they die back in late autumn.

  • Full Sun & Partial Shade
  • Well-Drained Soil
  • Moderate Moisture Needs
  • Deadhead After Bloom & Prune Back Late Autumn
  • Mulch Beds Well

The Orange Asiatic Lily will set your garden aglow this year with radiant blooms and long-lasting color! Order this and more from NatureHills.com and get your garden delivered to your doorstep!
