Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Growing Zones
Gorgeous antique finery in pure white, the New Vintage™ White Yarrow (Achillea millefolium 'Balvinwite') is an amazing perennial with a long history in antiquity and medicine, in addition to being a sun garden and pollinator standard!
The flat-topped umbles of pure white blossoms float like clouds over the aromatic ultra-finely textured green leaves! Butterflies and bees will be fighting over space on these landing pads for the nectar and pollen resources, and you'll be wading into the fray for a few stems to snip to add to your bouquets indoors too!
Yarrow are wonderful summer bloomers with the main flowering appearing in June-July, and if deadheaded once these blossoms fade, you'll enjoy a rebloom in August-September! Double the delight for you and your bees!
Their spicy medicinal scent harkens to the days when this medicinal flower was used as first aid on the battlefield in the days of early Greece. Retaining its amazing native hardiness, New Vintage™ White Yarrow thrives throughout USDA planting zones 4 to 9 and grows to a neat and tidy 10-14 inches tall when in bloom, and the clumps of lacy leaves spread just 8-12 inches wide!
Landscape Application:
New Vintage™ White Yarrows are supreme Pollinator garden and Cutting Garden lovelies, so plant one in your sunny landscape beds and borders to turn any garden into a place for butterflies and bees to frolic and you to fill your vases in lacy white filler! Must-haves for Cottage gardens and mixed perennial borders, these politely creeping perennials will form larger and larger colonies gradually over time.
No room in your garden? Pot your Yarrow up in a planter as a filler or in groupings as a feature planting in your container gardens! Any sunny porch or patio gains elegant white blossoms and 'flying flowers' stopping by to visit! Dress up your front porch with a matched pair of potted Yarrow with a bright spiller like Ajuga or Vinca around the edges and a Hydrangea Tree or Tree Form White Rose as the specimen planting in the center!
In larger displays, the spreading nature of these herbaceous perennials means they fill tricky, sun-drenched swaths of ground beautifully! Becoming low-water-usage once established, fill mass plantings with dreamy white New Vintage™ or mix and match with other Yarrow for a low-maintenance landscape en mass filler! Yarrow is a definite must-have for defensible space planting in any firewise landscape.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Yarrow are easy-to-grow perennials and love lots of sun! Yarrow can tolerate poor, rocky, and sandy soil conditions, and do best in hot humid summers, in a full sun spot with excellent drainage. Water them regularly to get their roots established in your soil during their first season. Top-dress with a 3-4 inch deep layer of arborist mulch to not only make them look better but also hold moisture and insulate the roots best. Once established, allow your Yarrow to dry between waterings for best success because they despise soggy soil.
Deadheading enhances their overall appearance and encourages rebloom. In spring, before you see new growth, trim away any of last year's stems to clean up the crown. Divide the mounds every 3-4 years.
- Performs Beautifully in Heat & Full Sun
- Tolerates Dry Soil & Needs Well-Drained Sites
- Moderate to Low Moisture Needs Once Established
- Deadhead For Fall Rebloom & Prune Early Spring
- Drought Tolerant Rabbits & Deer Resist This Cultivar
The New Vintage™ White Yarrow is just the lacy touch of elegant finery for your sunny landscape! Order yours at Nature Hills today to start enjoying them as soon as possible!
