Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Growing Zones
Subtle pastel peachy yellow tones, the New Vintage™ Terracotta Yarrow (Achillea millefolium 'Terracotta') is a pretty mix of warm earthy tones on upright clumps of ferny greenery! Aromatic and medicinally scented from top to bottom, the late-spring to summer flowers open as flat-topped terracotta orange that fades to a soft champagne yellow!
These flat lacy flowers are a boon to pollinators like bees and butterflies and the tall strong straight stems will add warmth and finery to your bouquets! If you snip plenty of blooms for floral arrangements or deadhead spent blooms, you and your bees will be treated to a rebloom in the August/September weeks!
New Vintage™ Yarrow is a hardy perennial that grows throughout USDA planting zones 4 to 9, growing into a taller, upright 24-28 inches in height when in bloom! The lacy foliage clumps spread just 10-12 inches wide but can slowly spread by way of underground runners to create polite clumps.
Landscape Application:
Easy to grow New Vintage™ Yarrow turns any and every sun garden and landscape bed into a Pollinator Garden and Cutting Border! Single specimen plantings or large mass plantings alike fill your garden in low-maintenance color and the flutter of grateful wings.
Potted up in large or small container gardens, any porch or patio in the sun gains a vertical thriller and tall spiller. Mixing Terracotta with other warm-toned sun-loving perennials makes landscape design easy and New Vintage™ Yarrow mingles beautifully with other Yarrow! Create colorful plantings in pots or in the ground by mixing Terracotta with warm yellows, creams, oranges, and fruity apricots and peaches, to create a sunset display of tones!
Yarrow is a definite must-have for defensible space planting in any firewise landscape. Plant in pampered Cottage Gardens or xeric sites like Rock Gardens, New Vintage™ Terracotta Yarrow is an easy-going and hard-working perennial!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Yarrow are easy-to-grow perennials and love lots of sun! Yarrow can tolerate poor, rocky, and sandy soil conditions, and do best in hot humid summers, in a full sun spot with excellent drainage. Water them regularly to get their roots established in your soil during their first season. Top-dress with a 3-4 inch deep layer of arborist mulch to not only make them look better but also hold moisture and insulate the roots best. Once established, allow your Yarrow to dry between waterings for best success because they despise soggy soil.
Deadheading enhances their overall appearance and encourages rebloom. In spring, before you see new growth, trim away any of last year's stems to clean up the crown. Divide the mounds every 3-4 years. Divide the clumps every 3-5 years to keep their spread in check, or spread these transplants out to fill more of your garden with their pastel color!
- Performs Beautifully in Heat & Full Sun
- Tolerates Dry Soil & Needs Well-Drained Sites
- Moderate to Low Moisture Needs Once Established
- Deadhead For Fall Rebloom & Prune Early Spring
- Drought Tolerant Rabbits & Deer Resist This Cultivar
